Ecclesiastes 1:5-7

The sun rises and the sun sets then hurries back to where it rises. The wind blows to the south and turns to the north; round and round it goes, ever returning on it’s course. All streams flow into the sea, yet the sea is never full. To the place the streams come from, there they return again.

Cycles of the earth, round and round, under and over, in and out, one direction to another, all return to their sources. It is a divine orchestration of order set by the Creator God. There are systems in size from micro to macro, tiny, small, large and massive. Each complete in themselves but meaningless apart from it’s relation to all others. It’s perfect harmony, sweet on the ears of the Creator. Nothing in the heavens or on earth was not made by it’s orchestrate, Jesus Christ. Visible or invisible, thrones or dominions, rulers or authorities, all things through Him and for Him. In Him all things hold together.(Col.1:6,7)

What could be sweeter on God’s ears than His perfect creation? The songs of the redeemed, voices lifted high to sing praises to his name for His saving grace. Those purchased by His blood, lifting to Him a song of love. We make Him rejoice and sing over us when we praise Him. We make Him smile, we make Him celebrate in dance, we make Him laugh in delight when we worship Him. He inhabits our praise.

Praise and worship God’s perfect harmony of Creation. Stand in awe of the many systems that work all around you, simultaneously yet all under the order of God, through Christ Jesus. Worship the Creator not the creation. It is He that has set your life in motion! (Acts 17:28-..in Him we live and move and have our being.) Make a joyful noise in praise!

*Something to praise Him for: 200 of our site visitors have accepted Christ as their Savior!

Luke 15:7–I say unto you that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repents, more than over the ninety and nine just persons..–Jesus

Jetlag Isn’t Over Yet

June 3rd, 2007 by honeyphi

Since we got back from our 2-week vacation in the Philippines I still have a weird sleep cycle. Yesterday I went to bed by 5:30pm and woke up at 9:45 same evening. ‘Til I woke up I am still awake until now it’s already 5:39am MST. All I can do is read and surf the net. Good thing though is I have company with me, ‘MingMing’ my sweet little kitty. She is a very good company, she followed me around and never sleep while I am still awake. I kinda like my sleeping cycle for now because I can study at night without any disturbance and keeps me away from television but never kept me away from my computer though. Am gonna try to get some sleep maybe in an hour or two. Have to read my management book in order for me to write a pages long paper.

Travel Plans

June 1st, 2007 by honeyphi

Even our schedule is very hectic, we have to take a break once in a while or more often :).  My husband and I love to travel our next excursion will be on the Fourth of July weekend in Cannon Beach, Oregon.  This is one of our favorite place to go and relax.

Our plans are:

Go fishing, catch some crabs hopefully, walk on the beach, go to Tillamok, OR and taste their different kinds of cheeses, have some wine tasting and buy some ‘I love their blackberry wine’ .  Not to miss watching the wild seal while waiting to trap the crab/s and afterwards dig some clams.  Do you know that ’seal’ change color if they are out in the water for many hours?

Because Oregon is known of their very good cherries and berries, we have to buy some on our way. Fresh seafood is everywhere so we are going to eat a very tasty food called ‘ciop·pi·no’ and different kind of oysters as well.

Before we leave the city back to colorado we have to stop by at our house in Hillsboro, OR to check out if it is well taken care of by our tenant and the HOA maintenance and walk in the village near by and have some coffee.

Looking forward to feel the freshness of breeze and the beauty of scenery.

Your Birthdate: April 19
You are resilient, and no doubt your resilience has already been tested.
You’ve had some difficult experiences in your life, but you are wise from them.
Having had to grow up quickly, you tend to discount the advice of others.
You tend to be a loner, having learned that the only person you can depend on is yourself.

Your strength: Well developed stability and confidence

Your weakness: Suspicion of others

Your power color: Eggplant

Your power symbol: Spade

Your power month: October

Never Alone

August 7th, 2005 by honeyphi

"I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.  Thou salt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. Psalm 73:23-24"

A solitary tree standing in the middle of a field may appear to be deserted by all else.  In fact, however, it is not.  The warmth of the sun kisses that tree; the gentle breezes caress it; the fellowship of birds on the wing gladden it; and a small underground universe of lively creatures stimulate it.

We all experience loneliness at some time in our lives.  Loveliness is natural and should be appreciated rather than feared.  In seasons of loneliness, we discover that we are never truly alone– no more than that solitary tree.  People we barely notice during times of social prosperity– neighbors, long-forgotten acquaintances, others who move quietly in and out of our daily lives– surround us and can become valuable friends.  But the greatest discovery is that God is constantly with us, warming is with His love, and we can learn to home in Him.

Worship1_5 FATHER, during those times when I feel the ache of loneliness, help me to remember that You are never more than a whispered prayer away.

"I love the Lord because he hears and answers my prayers. Because He bends down and listens, I will pray as long as I have breath! Psalms 116:1-2 NLT"

"God, thank you ; we thank you because you are near.  We tell you about the miracles you do.  Psalm 75:1 NCV"

A Flame Rekindled

August 5th, 2005 by honeyphi

"I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I hope. Psalm 130:5 NIV"

A blazing wood fire is glorious, but when it’s spent, nothing remains but white-gray ash–a somber contrast to the rough-cut long that once lay on the hearth and the colorful flames that danced high in the air, filling the room with warmth.

At time we may feel that our lives are reduced to ashes, that our strength is gone, and that the flame we once carried inside is cold and colorless.  But God promises that even at our lowest point, even when we feel there is nothing left with which we rebuild our lives, He is there to rekindle the flame within us.  His indwelling Spirit offers hope and strength to begin again, and His never-failing love shines brightly on our path, illuminating each step we take.

Worship1_4 LORD GOD, I thank You that the fire of Your Spirit brings new life to my body and soul.  I will place my life in Your hands and my hope in Your faithfulness and love.

"Lead me by Your truth and teach me, for You are the God who saves me.  All day long I put my hope in you.  Psalm 25:5 NLT"

Mended Heart

August 3rd, 2005 by honeyphi

"The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit   -Psalm 34:18 NIV" Worship1_3

Few people pass through life without feeling the sting of betrayal, the loss of friendship, or the failure of important relationships.  at those times, we often feel that the pain of a broken heart will cling to us for the rest of our days and that we will never be whole again.  Sometimes we even wonder if God still loves us.

God does love us, purely, simply , and unconditionally.  Even if our pain is the result of our own actions, God’s love does not condemn us.  It urges us forward, calling us to forgive ourselves, make amends, and become better people.  His love is constant and predictable.  it is the one thing on which we can depend.  And with the assurance of His love comes hope — home that we will love again, trust again, offer our hearts again.

Father, thank You for the promise of Your constant love and the hope it brings to my life.

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart an my portion forever.  Psalm 73:26 NIV

Asian Festival - Dragon Boat

August 1st, 2005 by honeyphi

On July 30-31 me and my hubby went to Sloan’s Lake Park to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival, an Asian celebration every year celebrated here in Colorado.

The event was pretty interesting.  I saw a few Filipinos and we visited different booths.  I found PASCO (Philippine American Society of Colorado) and Uplift Internationale aka Taghoy.  Cimg0080_11

I found out that the founder of this organization is from Ormoc City his name is Dr. Jaime Yrastorza. This organization help kids born with clefts of the lip and palate.

We only spent an hour at the event cause we had an appointment with the builder to sign our contract.  We had Filipino food snack from Tropical grill, we had chicken BBQ, Lumpia and pork bbq in a skewer, bihon, and adobo. After we were done with our snacks we left and decided to come back the next day to watch the boat race.

Sunday, July 31st we went to the event’s location and almost spent our entire day there.  Sunday was not as hot as Saturday and it was pretty dry outside.  We did enjoy watching the race and people really had lots of fun.  Cimg0083_1

Lunch time…. we decided to grab some food at the tropical grill we had the same stuff we had on Saturday

Around 4pm we decided to go home and relax.

We really had a very nice sunny weekend.

Nothing much to say….

July 22nd, 2005 by honeyphi

I feel very tired today…. been scanning my notes almost the whole day…. Life is so boring, don’t ask cause I don’t know why….

Me and my hubby planned to watch fantastic four again, but we decided not to cause ‘we didn’t have much time– we were too late for the show’.  We had dinner at the Japanese restaurant.  I was very full and after awhile I felt sleepy… ’sakit sa baboy’.  We drove to Colorado Mills Mall and stop by at borders book store.  I bought 3 books and Michael got a DVD ‘Fire Fly - Science fiction’.

I am really really sleepy now and ready to go to bed….  Feel exhausted…. wa masubra-e ha!?  Have no interest to watch any movie for tonight….

Have to go up stairs now… and sleep.
